Default Software to combine Video and Audio of a lecture with a powerpoint presentation

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a software that helps me combining the audio and video of a lecture with the powerpoint presentation the lecture was based on. What I would like to have as a result would be the video of the lecturer and the presentation next to each other and also maybe the notes of the power point slide that is currently shown.
If the viewer now switches to the next slide without watching and listening the whole video/audio both video and audio would jump to a marker that has been set for the next slide.
So far I have looked into Wink and Camtasia, but I'm not sure that they are really what I'm looking for. They both seem to require me to make a video of my powerpoint presentation and I haven't found a tutorial yet that shows me how to combine it with the video of the lecturer or the notes of the presentation. I would rather like to have an application where I could use my powerpoint presentation directly without converting it to a video.
Is there anything more suitable for me out there?
Thanks for your help,
Thomas
