I'm at a loss as to what is going haywire with my Word 2011, which I'm running on a iMac desktop with Lion.

I have been trying to create a new theme. I call up a blank document, click the Themes button, select the theme that I want, and then save as blank.dotx. Close Word and then reopen. But it doesn't open with the new theme. It opens with the old theme which I want to replace. Plus, all my macros have disappeared. What's going on here?
