Hi.
I'm having trouble with formatting my document using hard space. (using Word 2007)
What I want to do is to prevent some 1-2 letter words from appearing at the end of the line. For example:
"my friend" - I dont want to have Word brake the line between theese two words, so I replace standard space with a hard space. It works, with one big issue.
My text is justified, so space between words is dynamic - except for hard space. In effect line looks like this:
Quote:
"my_friend_____text_____text_____text"
|
This is even more noticable if I add some text at start:
Quote:
"text_____text_____text_____my_friend_____text____ _text"
|
(underlines are as spaces of course, this forum cuts multiple spaces)
This is unacceptable for me. Of course I can use shift-enter, but this would be not good in case I add some text to the paragraph later on.
Is there any way to make a hard space adjust to the dynamic word spacing in justified text? If not, then what else should I do?
Regards
Peter
