Is your OST or PST larger than 2gb? OST and PST files that are larger than 2GB are not recommended by Microsoft as they are susceptible to corruption and are often associated with a decrease in performance with Outlook.

If your OST or PST is larger than 2gb you may want to archive some of that data out. If your OST pr PST is not larger than 2gb. I would run the scanpst tool to check for and correct errors in your OST or PST.
