Default Changing footer size

Hello,

One possibility is that you have a footer which appears blank but in fact contains several Carriage Returns. You can check this by opening your document and selecting View > Headers and Footers. If you then select the Show / Hide all button, you shall be able to check if this is the situation. If so, then it is simply a matter of deleting unwanted CRs. Please see attached example.

Another possibility is to check the page layout.

Select View Header / Footer
Select File > Page Setup
Select the Layout tab
Under the Headers and Footers option look at the "From Edge:" settings. The default is 1.25 cm. If yours is different, change the settinga back to the default value.

Hopefully this should solve your problem.

Kind regards,

Zade :-)
