I typed a row of ten asterisks into a word 2007 document. For some reason the row of asterisks turned into a broken line across the width of the page, and I can't get rid of it. I can't get the cursor at the end of the broken line. I can highlight the broken line along with the line of text directly above it, but when I delete only the line of text is deeleted. have no idea why this is happening or what can be done. Thanks.
