Hi, I'm absolutely beside myself with panic and I actually feel sick! I'm using Wordpad on Windows 7 and I am new to the whole laptop thing.

I'm currently doing a degree and was exceedingly proud of myself for typing my first 3000 word assignment which took me 5 hours. I saved the document and left the reference page for later.

I have tonight opened Wordpad again and created a new document for the reference page and when attempting to save it, it asked whether I would like to replace the original. I clicked on yes and to my absolute horror, the one page reference page has been saved over the original document.

My question is, is there any way of restoring the original document despite saving over it????? I am in absolute disbelief that my whole assignment has gone.

Please can someone help????? I would really appreciate this!
