Default Automatic closure of open mails after some time

I work in an environment where I get 3-400 emails a day and I have to constantly open emails and jump from issue to issue. Around noon each day I end up with 100+ open emails and my PC stops working, out of memory.

Is there a way to have open emails automatically close after a certain time? I would love if I could have any open emails close after it has been open for an hour, for example.

Either with a setting Outlook (I use 2007) or some kind of external script.
