I'm having a similar problem with Adobe Garamond Pro reverting back to Times New Roman even though the Font box up top says differently. My italics still display in Adobe Garamond Pro, but the normal text does not. I suspect it's a problem with the actual font file (.TTF/.OTF) but I'm still looking for an answer too.

My suggestion would be to delete and reinstall the font from a different source. No sense in replacing a corrupted file with the same corrupted file, right? That's worked for me in the past using MS-2007 and with MS-2010 it doesn't seem to happen.

I just happen to have a doc where this was happening earlier today and now it's not. It opens fine and the font is correct. So, maybe even try a power-down reboot and see what happens. My work PC only has 1GB of shared memory, so there's no telling what'll stop working when the well runs dry.
