I am using the office customization tool to add a program to remove prior to installing office 2007 pro. I am adding this under "add installations and run programs" and it is set to remove the office 2007 compatibility pack prior to the installation of office 2007. Systems I run this on have office 2003. The command line I use is msiexec /x {90120000-0020-0409-0000-0000000FF1CE} /qn and it does run however after this is run then setup.exe is stopped and office 2007 does not install. If I try to use the command start /wait msiexec.exe {90120000-0020-0409-0000-0000000FF1CE} /qn then it just passes over it and never runs that. I've also tried using a batch file with the same results. I believe that I also tried the option to remove it after office is done installing and it doesn't run the compatibility pack uninstaller. Any help is appreciated.
