Default Conditional Formatting Expiration Dates Based on Text in Adjacent Cell

Hi all,
using conditional formatting I want my expiration dates to highlight red based on text criteria in an adjacent column.

If E4="Low" or "Moderate" then D4 should turn red if the date is more than 3 years old. For the second part of the formula I had =TODAY()>=DATE(YEAR(D5)+3,MONTH(D5),DAY(D5))

If E4="High" or "Critical" then D4 should turn red if the date is more than 1 year old.

I just don't know how to bring all of the elements together.

all help is appreciated.
