Default How to restore original data format - from a .pdf file to Excel columns

Hi experts,

I copied a table (in .pdf) with three-columns from an internet source. I simply highlighted all data (about 200 rows) and pasted it directly in MS Excel expecting to retain the three-column format in Excel. But the result was not as I expected.

The sample result is as shown in the attached file. There is a consistent row-gap for every data (See FROM THIS), though the first three data should have been displayed in a single row only, under the column : School, Code No., Tel. No. (See TO THIS output).

How then should the original three-column format be restored as shown in the attached file? Please note that the blank row-gap is consistent as a break for each data in the table.

Thanks,

Kim
