I have absolutely no more idea where to turn to solve this awkward problem and I believe the solution should be either really easy (something with the options) or really complex (registry problem).

Anyway the problem is that whenever I try to open word document it just loads the word but doesn't open the document itself. Even if I create a new blank document and try to open it I have to do it 'twice'. First I will have to double-click on any word document and it will open 'core' word without any templates and afterwards I have to open file through 'open' function.

I would really appreciate any tips as myself I have spent days googling for this problem but I cannot seem to find any possible solutions.

I use win7 64, and ms office enterprise 2007
