The topic for Office claimed to "scroll down for Word..." but no topic for Word is in the list...

Here is my question:

I open a document, old or new, and that bar across the top of the screen that shows the name of the file and allows me to move the document with the cursor is missing. How did I disappear it, how to I undisappear it?

Right now, the only way I can move a word window is to meticulously search for a grey spot that does not activate some option.
