Default Tab a little

Hello, pleasecanyouhelp. I believe I can.
What you need is a right tab. You can look up tabs in help if my instructions are not clear.

In the upper left corner of your Word page if you have your rulers showing, is a little box with what looks like a bold L, which is a left tab. Click this twice and you will see a backwards bold L, which is a right tab. You can then simply place your cursor over the location on the top ruler where you would like your rightmost text to be and click. A bold backwards L should appear. This is the only tab mark that should be in your ruler. You can remove any others by simply dragging them down off the ruler.

With your cursor back on the page, click on (I think) View/Hidden characters. Paragraph symbols will appear where hard returns are in your text.

Delete the dots your were trying to use. With your cursor between the two numbers in a line of your TOC, Press your tab key once. The second number should now be right-aligned at the tab you created, and you should see an arrow in the space inbetween.

I you select the line and open the paragraph format dialogue box, and click on the tabs button. Select the dots in the Leader section and press OK.
