I have a PPT 2010 slide with multiple animations in it. I want to play a looping mp3 file in the background for the duration of the slide. I inserted the sound file and set it to loop, then in the animation pane I move it to the top, set it to play "with previous" to get it to start when the slide comes up.

Here's the problem. The animation following the sound file is set to play "with previous" - that works. The following animations are set to play "after previous", but they never play. Are they waiting for the first animation - the sound file - to finish? How can I get the rest of the animations to play while the sound file loops??
