I'm new here.

My problem is that I have one document that keeps crashing. I'm using Word 2004 for Mac. The problem developed a few days ago when I added some material by pasteing something from an email into the document.

When the document started crashing, I deleted the section that came from the email, thinking that might have caused the problem.

The document then worked fine for the next few days. Now it crashes whenever I make a change and save it. The crash isn't immediate. The software lets me make the change, and lets me save it. But a few seconds later it stops functioning and I have to force quit.

This is an important project, the manuscript for a book I'm editing.

Any ideas on what might be going on, and how to fix it?
