Thanks for those - I'd already done those things and they didn't work. Tried again just to be sure but didn't work.
What I've decided to do is
- copy the (long) contents of the cells from the cell above the problem to the cell below it - so 3 cells .......
- paste it unformatted on another blank sheet
- then delete the 3 rows (with all the text still on it ....... everything in it)
....... then hopefully the line will go too........
Then all I have to do is create 3 new table rows and start pasting without formatting and doing a LOT of reformatting of the contents. Oh well.
I'll do it tomorrow.
Hopefully I won't have any problems ..... (fingers crossed)
Thanks for the help though - at least I know that it's not something crazy. I'm pretty good using Word so I couldn't work out what the issue was.
I've also stopped it happening again by switching off the automatic lines. ;-)
