SpiderTech,

I just attached the 2 error messages that I get when I try to create a folder.

I am using Outlook 2010 and have an IMAP account. (just exactly as I did with Outlook 2003)

Listed under my email account (mike@xxxxxxxxxxx.com (IMAP) I create a folder for each new customer that I get and that folder is named for the company of that person, such as Ajax Pools, for instance.

Then, whenever I receive an email from someone at Ajax Pools, I file that email in their respective folder.

Outlook is basically telling me that about 1/2 of these new folders cannot be created. (as if they already exist)

I have found a work-around that so far seems to work; however, I am having to change the name of the folder slightly by either combining the names such as "AjaxPools" instead of "Ajax Pools". Names that are one word, I try to figure out a way to split them - such as "Art-craft" instead of the real name "Artcraft".

I hope my notes here make sense. I just know that Outlook is not supposed to be acting this way. I've been using it too many years.

I really appreicate your response and hope you or someone else can help.

Thanks!
