I am using Windows XP and Word 2000. It happens that I couldn't open Word, namely I double click the Word icon. Word does not open, no message appears. Word appears on the task bar, but when I right click it, the option restore is greyed out and whe In click option close, I get dialog box saying that Word does not respond. After several reboots, Word is now working, but I would like to know what it was and how to prevent it in the future.
