Commodore is on a distinguished road
Default Formatting signatures

Hi Forum!

I'm struggeling with the settings of my Outlook 2003 with Word as eMail editor after I got a new system and could not get back all my former settings yet.

The problem is that I set Arial 12 pt as my standard font in Word. Using Outlook for mail, Word is in use but it does not do everything same as if I just use Word. I want that on new messages as well as on replies Arial 12 pt is the standard font. That is so in the text, but my signatures which I created in Arial with Word as editor will show in Times New Roman on replies. I do not know why. All my settings are on Arial, e.g. Tools - Options - Mail Format - Fonts: composing: Arial 12, replying and forwarding: Arial 12. I marked the first option "Use the font specified in stationery (if specified)" as I had it in former times as well. I'm not using any stationery anyway, but I tried all 3 different settings and they all do not change this problem. A new message is being started with Arial. The signature is in Arial as well. That is ok. But when I reply on any mail the signature is in Times, only the text that I can type will be automatically formatted in Arial. Does anyone have a clue for me please where I got my hidden fault? I would really, really appreciate.

Greetings,

Commodore
