Question what is the professional way to include an equation in a paragraph?

what is the professional way to include an equation in a paragraph?

please, see the attached image that shows my question

To include an equation in a paragraph i followed the method described in the following link:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T34BM...6BBCAD&index=7

the problem now that after including an equation we usually start defining the symbols. But

we don't need the paragraph that follows the equation to be a new paragraph and to start neither with capital letter and nor with tab!!!

is the only way to make new style for the paragraphs that follow the equations?

what is the professional track to include equations in paragraphs?

regards

Jamal
