Default Excel's Export png file

Hello all!

I had a question about the VBA code "ActiveChart.Export". I can use this to export (at least) a .png file for a graph/chart; what I can't do is specify the resolution (i.e. 300, 600, 900 dpi)!

What I find, which is really bad, is if the graph is zoomed in to a certain distance, it's resolution will be better than the corresponding zoomed out version! This can easily lead to very inconsistent or very low resolutions...

(a) Is there any way to export graphics AND specify a resolution?
(b) Aside from png, can other formats be exported?
Specifically, academic journals request "*.TIF, 600 dpi".

Many thanks,
Bryan

PS - This is a 2010 version, but is the same with 2007
