I was working on a document when I noticed that my parentheses were changing. It was an existing document I was adding more text to and it originated on the same computer and saved as a Microsoft Word Document.

I've tried restarting the program, my computer and reset my font type and format "normal" but this does not help. Can someone explain why this is happening and what I can do to fix it. Half of the parentheses looks different and it's confusing when reading. One is kind of small like two little lines going down and the other has a curve to it.
