I open your attached file. Currently columns A, B, C, D, E, F, G, ... are displayed;
Now I click once at right arrow of sheets horizontal scroll-bar at bottom of sheet. Without freezing active, columns B, C, D, E, F, G, H, ... would be visible, but with freezing you set on, the columns A, B C, D, E, and then columns G, H, I, ... are visible instead;
With every further click on this right arrow of scroll-bar, you can hide additional columns immediately after column E, and make more columns at right of sheet, which were hidden before at sheets border, visible. E.g. you can make visible columns A, B, C, D, E and GW, GX, GY, ...;
In case you want to see data in column F again, you have to scroll back - clicking on left arrow of scroll bar repeatedly, or simply dragging the scroll bar back.
