Make sure that the paragraphs in the document begin and end where you want them, because the last line in a paragraph, terminated with Enter, won't be justified. To get a clear view of this, work with nonprinting marks displayed. Click the ¶ icon on the Home tab. Paragraph marks will be represented by pilcrows, ¶.
Also, to ensure that the spaces between words are more consistent in justified text, you may have to enable hyphenation in Word. On the Layout tab, click Hyphenation and choose an option, such as Automatic.
