In reply to your last message, everything is opening when I click on it. The only function that isn't working is language. It won't work in any document.
When I press the print screen button, it doesn't do anything, so I can't send snap shots. I'll try to explain what is happening.
I go to the file tab, click on more, then options, and language. UK English is set up as number 1 preference. Under Office authoring languages on the open screen, a bit further down, the UK English is bold at the top of the list. When I run a spelling and grammar check through any document, all the words with American spelling stay the same. It doesn't change to UK English. In the bottom right hand corner of my monitor, the language shows as US English. That won't change.
