Originally the UK English wasn't available to me in Word, only US English. I downloaded the UK English dictionary. I can copy and paste code into the editor part of Word where the macros go. That's what I've been doing. I used to be able to go through the usual procedure in Word to change the language from US English to UK English for proofing, but not now. I wasn't sure if I understood your question and hope this has answered it.
