Exit Outlook, exit all other applications, and shut down your computer. It may not be enough to "sign out" or "sleep".

Restart your computer and open Outlook. Has the column header returned?

If not, it may be a high-wire act to restore the column header.

1. Click "View".

2. Click "View Settings".

3. Click "Format Columns".

4. Click "Reset Current View".
