Sent items folder?
This is driving me crazy and I hope someone here can help, I have an old Windows 10 computer with Office Pro 2019 and a new Windows 11 computer with Office Pro 2024. As I've done many times before when migrating old Outlook on an old computer to new Outlook on a new computer I copy the old Pst files from the old computer to a folder on the new computer; I setup outlook with the email accounts on the new computer, creating a new Pst file; then I import the old Pst file into the new Pst file. Everything appears to have worked with the exception of the Sent Items folder, on the old computer (which still works btw) I opened outlook and checked the Sent Items folder and it has exactly 10,000 items; on the new computer there are only 10 items in the Sent Items folder. When I open the old Pst file on the new Windows 11 computer as a 2nd Pst file and go to the Sent Items folder there are only 10 Sent Items despite the fact that when I just looked at this Pst file on the old computer it had 10,000 Sent Items. I've tried a bunch of different things such as repairing the Pst file on the old computer then transferring the file again and again I get the same results. I've tried on the old computer to Export the Sent Items folder to a new Pst and then copy the file to the new computer and the sent items folder is empty.
Nothing that I've done has worked to get the old sent items over to the new computer. Has anyone seen anything like this?
