Fonts and Language Packs are different things.

If you have the Language Pack installed, I'd expect you can select your Marathi character set as a numbering option via Numbering>Numbering library. If you do that and define an appropriate paragraph Style with all the paragraph formatting attributes you require, that should be all there is to it.
