Microsoft 365 is a subscription service that in many subscriptions includes the regular desktop applications. For convenience the Word downloaded could be referred to as Word 365. It is changing on a monthly basis, if not more.


Word 2010 edits the same files (and I think is a better product although it does not have everything the recent versions have). Word 2010 has some nice features lost with Word 2013 and later.
