I'm curious if it is possible to allocate a keyboard shortcut to a button in a word document
Hello all,
I've only recently joined and have already benefited from some valuable advice from this forum - so thankyou all! I do however have a question. I produce a lot of reference documents for work and typically use the functionality from styles to generate a contents page with the corresponding ability to hyperlink from the contents page to the relevant content. I also hyperlink the titles of each section of my document back to the contents page as I work as an ISO 27001 auditor / tutor and find it easier to apply this functionality (and I almost exclusively convert any documents that I produce to pdf).
My question involves the potential inclusion of a "back" navigation button in a word document. Through this forum I've added the "back" button to the QAT, however it would be oh so handy to have this function allocated to a button which either executes a keyboard shortcut, or performs the "back" function in the header/footer/border of a document - so that I can enjoy that functionality once converted to a pdf.
Hope that isn't too wordy and thankyou in advance for any guidance you can provide.
