New Experience/Visual Refresh Preview - Microsoft Office - Microsoft 365 - Turning it On and Off

You should be able to turn this on, using a registry hack. Read the last few responses to the article.
Uncheck the option, then undo the hack (unless you actually want the "new experience).

Microsoft will fix this, I am confident. When, though? I do not know. Send feedback to Microsoft.
