I have "Microsoft® Word for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2404 Build 16.0.17531.20152) 64-bit" - this "solution" does not work for this version either...
Who in their right mind thought that this disappearing-scroll-bar-after-5-seconds-of no-mouse-or-keyboard-activity, or when the document pane no longer has focus, was a wonderful idea???
I often work with documents longer than one screen in height, and I want to see where I am relatively in the document when the document pane doesn't have the focus. This "wonderful invention" of some "brilliant" Microsoft person is so painful!!
How do we ask Microsoft to fix this extremely annoying behavior???
