1. If you go to the far right of the Notepad window and click on the gear, you'll get the setup screen. The version is displayed there. There are also controls for autocorrect and spell check.

2. If the system is changing "Turkey" to "Türkiye", that sounds like a language issue. What language is your system configured for?
