Hi Paul,

I gather the male/female student records are in parallel columns on the same rows. In that case, you will need to differentiate the field names. You can then use a Catalogue/Directory mailmerge.

The attached document has a set of mergefields & calculation fields for the merge. Data field names of «Surname1», «Forename1» and «House1» are assumed for the females and «Surname2», «Forename2» and «House2» for the males.

As coded, the male/female order swaps daily - if there are three females one week, there'll be three males the next week. That isn't quite what you asked for (three females each week) but it does achieve gender equity ...
