Are there any known incompatibilities between these two versions? My company uses Office 365, and while I'm sure it's fine for most users, I'm a technical writer and the access to styles in the web versions is flat out nonsense.

I've tried to use my copy of office 2016 instead, and sometimes when i open the file formatting is mucked up. Has anyone else run into this?

PS: I know that "formatting weirdness" is exceedingly vague; still trying to sort out exactly what is happening.
