Default Word. Removing the decimal point and numbers following it using the replace function

Hi all

Help please !

I receive data at work that is churned out into a word document. This includes a list of currency amounts i.e.

£100.67
£2,377.87
£1.60
£20.44

I am trying to remove the decimal points and the numbers after them, just leaving it like this

£100
£2,377
£1
£20

I asked someone I work with and they said use Replace function. Using “^#^#.” and leaving the second box blank.

I thought this was the key but I have reviewed the results and it was not giving accurate results

Can anyone help please. The data is not in a table in the Word document.

Thanks very much in advance
