If I cannot find a solution soon I will. The fact that I can do the Find using the Word UI and then it works for you tells me there is something wrong with my environment (AV, OS corruption, RAM corruption, etc.). So I am going back to basics and disabling stuff and doing updates and see if anything changes. Failing that, I will come post something more substantial. Either way I will let you know.
