When in Print Layout view, or Print Preview, what Word will display is governed by the print capabilities that the print driver communicates. By default that is not full edge to edge printing. If your printer is capable of full edge to edge printing you will find a setting for that in Printer Properties, as this setting is usually related to photo printing.
