That example is 60 copies of the same shape sitting in the same place. So every time you drag a shape into a new location you are moving the shape that is sitting on top until you run out of shapes.
You can do the same thing in Word if you want to pretend that you are getting 'new' shapes with a simple drag. Eventually you will run out of shapes and be left with a new perspective.
