The reason I wanted to do AutoText is that I really like the autocomplete option from there. - For portability, store your building blocks in independent Global Templates. Where can Building Blocks be stored?
- AutoComplete will work with any kind of building block if stored in Global Templates and not in the Building Blocks.dotx file.
- AutoText is the only building block supported in the Mac version of Word.
While I use Greg's utility, and really like it. I load it as an Add-In when I want to use it rather than having it load automatically.
