I'm trying to complete an email mail merge where some of the fields have telephone numbers in. The data source is an Excel spreadsheet.

I've formatted the telephone merge fields in the following format \# "0000 000 0000". The telephone numbers output correctly for some of the telephone numbers but not for all the records. For example some output as 0000 000 4642 which is incorrect.

The phone numbers are all in the same format in the Excel spreadsheet I am using. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can correct this?
