I found this thread via Google when I wanted to activate my Windows 7 and Office 2003 in a VM.


The US phone number worked for me (as of 1 hour ago), whereas the UK number did not work. However, I only tested the voice activation, because I did not know how to get to a text verification stage. I am located in Germany, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it.
