What I referred to blue screen is just Word opening with nothing in it at all, hence a blue screen only.
However it seems I solved my problem...I suscribed to Office 365 and all my transfereed tests are opening ok!
So it seems that W2007 is not compatible for some unknown reason. Belkin Cable, memory stick Network sharing and email were a no go!
