Problems with Outlook Search
I have just installed Office 365 Family. Most of the problems have been sorted, there is just one left.
In Outlook 365, Indexing is behaving most strangely.
When I first set up Outlook, using my Hotmail account, all my contacts appeared correctly and I could search them in the normal way. Search is successful with first names, last names, company names etc.
But NEW contacts are not being Indexed properly and Search is quite random. Some don’t come up in Search at all, in some cases I can find them using the last name and in other cases a last name Search comes up with nothing.
I can find the contacts in lists, but scrolling down a list of 1,000 names to send someone an email is a pain.
I have confirmed that Outlook Indexing is turned on, and tried the online suggestion to turn it off, reboot, turn it back on and reboot – no difference.
Please can you help me ?
PS I've just shared and installed 365 Family on my wife's PC. She has the exact same issue - she uses Windows 10, I'm using Windows 11. So it looks like an Outlook 365 installation issue ?
