No, there is no way to do this by using a filter. But you CAN use AutoFilter instead. Open the master project and expand all of the tasks in every subproject. Insert the % Complete column to the right of the Task Name column. Click the AutoFilter pick list button (little arrow button) in the Task Name column header and select the checkbox for the name of the project on which you want to report. Microsoft Project will automatically select the checkboxes for each of the tasks in that project as well. I tested this and it works fine for me. Hope this helps.
