Default Help Please, need script If find column width x value, then Split, except last column

Hello Pros,
I'm still in a peek period and I'm fedup of manually splitting up columns of all my tables. I could have 100s.

I've tried many times, creating my own scripts and I get no where or error messages.

Goal :
If a column which has no heading, No Text, only numbers, has a prefered width (Inches to points) of (0.12), then either put it as (0.24) then double it (if possible except the last column) or else it's ok, I will just not select it when copy and paste.

Or If a column has a symbol of $:% alone in its own column, then (it's already put at a width of (0.12), do the same thing as above [put it as 0.24 then split in two].

Anyway which is easier.

Reason: Some of my documents has a gap after the symbols $% which are in a separate column (Helped by Greg Maxey to double my Amount Columns and Move the symbols $% to an empty columns, which I'm so grateful for the helped).

Now I seem to need an extra empty column besides the symbols columns [$%].

I'm truly trying and getting nowwhere

Any help I would be so ever grateful

If it's not doable, please let me know as well, so I won't waste my time trying.
