I have a Blackberry which had calendar data corruption such that most older calendar entries were being deleted randomly from synch to synch with Outlook 2003. The phone was the problem and not outlook. I have replaced the phone.

When I did my last synch using Blackberry Desktop Manager, I selected only to sync future items however my older calendar items ended up being deleted from Outlook.

I have read there is a way to restore or recover the deleted outlook calendar items but not sure if this is possible. Several questions:

1) is there such a things as "Business Tools" option within Outlook ? I read there is and it can be used to restore deleted calendar items (presuming they are even stored somewhere when lost in a synchronization process). I cannot find this option anywhere within Outlook.

2) I may have old .ost files on my pc which I could theoretically use to restore an old outlook data file, resynch with the new phone and then revert back to my current outlook. Not exactly sure how to do this so would appreciate any guidance and instructions....
